Everyone from Kokoyashi have a party for the defeat of the Arlong. Everyone is dancing,
and eating. Luffy of course, being the glutton he is, eats as much food as he can and almost chokes himself. Zoro is at the
doctors getting his wound he got from Mihawk stitched up. The doctor asks if they had a doctor and they said no. Luffy says
he'll get a doctor, but he wants a musician first. Luffy wonders where Nami was and the scene flashes to her. She's at Belmeil's
grave and she asks Gen if Belmeil would try to stop her from being a pirate. Genzo resonds yes, but Nami wouldn't listen anyway.
The village partied for three days straight and night falls. LUffy asks Sanji where the Ham-melon was, Zoro drinks on, Sanji
goes and gets some girls, and Usopp starts to sing on how great he was. Meanwhile, Nami gets her Arlong tatoo removed. She
remembers how Nojiko got a tatoo on her arm so they can be the same. Nami then asks the doctor for tatoo something on instead.
Genzo
is far away from the party and is at Belmeil's grave. He pours wine on her grave when Luffy arrives. He asks Genzo if the
Ham-melon was here. HE then sees the grave and pays repsect. Genzo then makes Luffy promise that if he ever hurts Nami, he'll
kill Luffy. Back at the town, everyone falls asleep from partying so long.
Everyone is asleep and a full moon was out.
Nami is at her house left all the money she collected there. She leaves a note that it was everyone's money to use. She thinks
back on all the happy times. She turns around and see Belmeil sitting at the table (she isn't really there). Nami tells her
the happy days are coming and that she'll accomplish her goal of drawing a world map. She says she's leaving now and she doesnt
know when she'll be back. She walks out the door and feels a push on her back. She turns around and sees nothing. She smiles.
Luffy,
Usopp, Sanji and Zoro load the ship with supplies and is ready to set sail. Johnny and Yasoku thanked them for taking care
fo them, but say they had to leave now. They tell Zoro to take care. Sanji notices that Nami was missing and says there was
no point for him to come on if Nami wasn't coming. Luffy tells him he never found the Ham-melon. Nojiko tells Genzo that she
left all the money she collected for them. Genzo gets mad but Nojiko tells him that she'll just collect again. From far away,
Nami appears and she tells Luffy to raise the sail. They do so and Nami starts running towards the docks. Everyone wants to
stop her to say they can thank her for what she has done, but she ignores. When she reaches the dock, she jumps over the water
and into the Going Merry. She then lifts up her shirt and a bunch of wallets and purses fall down. She robbed all the villgers
of their money. They all get pissed and Nami laughs. Zoro and Usopp wonder if she'll betray them again, but Sanji and Luffy
laugh. Nami says her goodbyes and thanks for everything.
While the ship goes off into the horizon, the doctor gives
a piece of paper to Gezno. It was a picture of a windmill with an orange on it. Nojiko then notices that Genzo's pinwheel
was missing, but he replies that he doesn't need it anymore. It flashes back to when Nami was a baby and Genzo trying to make
her laugh. But she would just cry. Genzo placed a windmill on his head and made Nami laugh. As the ship gets farther away
from the island, Nami sees Belmeil's grave in the distance. She says I'm leaving now. At the grave, Genzo's pinwheel was place
there and was spinning, along with an orange there. |
